New Direction in Life

I don't know if it's because my cousin Jessica passed away so suddenly or that I've been bored with work lately, or perhaps a combination of the two; however, I've decided to try to mark some things off my life's to-do list. I've quit all my groups and associations I'm involved in at work and am focusing completely on my home and family. Life is too short to continue putting things on the back burner. One day that back burner won't be there, and I don't want to be stuck with a 'coulda, shoulda, woulda' list.
So one thing on my list, is I've always wanted to run in a marathon. I bought a double jogger yesterday and am going to start running (this one may take a couple of years-lol). Next I have a list of inventions that I've thought of, and I want to start making progress on them. I'll start with getting a patent on them, then go from there. I'm looking at mommy and me classes for Maddie (then Annie when she's older.) Just so we can have special time together without any interruptions. I'm also thinking of starting some home health work. Just like 2 or 3 clients in the evenings. I've always thought I'd be good at it and thought I'd like it. For some reason, that one is the hardest for me to get started on....not sure why. Probably, because it takes the largest committment.
Unfortunately my list is longer than the things listed here; but this is a good start. I really want to encourage everyone to look at their lives too and remember to live every day to the fullest and let everyone know how much you love them.....you never know what the future may hold.

  1. That's great that you are going to try to do some things you always wanted to do! If you need any help with any of them, let me know!
    Love you!!

  2. I didn't know you wanted to do a marathon - that's a great way to get back in shape after having a baby - maybe we can find one we both want to do and train for it. Don't get discouraged running w/ the baby jogger though b/c those things are HARD to run with. It will make you stronger and when you run w/o one it will feel much easier.
